Adoption Fee

The adoption fee is $18 per hen as of August 2025. It had been $15 for 4 yrs now. The extra dollars helps us cover the extra petrol costs. This also covers the treatments we give your hens (vetRX oils with rescue remedy, CBD oil mix for every hen) and payment to the egg farmer for each hen.

Any additional donations are very welcome and are tax deductible as we have DGR status so you can claim on your income tax.

We are all volunteers so every $ raised goes to the care of these girls and the hens that were not fit for adoption so come home to our Hen Hospital to be cared for.
